The School of International Relations (The Institute of Advanced International Studies), Sun Yat-sen University, is seeking full-time research fellows and research associates from across the globe.
Open PositionsResearch fellows/ research associates in the field of international relations:
- Southeast Asian studies,
- China diplomacy studies,
- Studies on overseas Chinese,
- American studies,
- Studies on global governance
(international trade and finance, international regimes and organizations),
- Northeast Asian studies,
- European studies,
- South Asian studies,
- Oceanian studies.
Qualifications1)Applicants should demonstrate appropriate professional manners and work ethics;
2)Applicants should hold a Ph.D degree in international politics or international relations or economics or any relevant subjects;
3)Applicants should have good research capability and are able to conduct research in any of the fields as described above;
4)Applicants should be no older than 38 years of age
(except in outstanding cases);
5)Applicants with relevant work experiences are highly welcomed.
RemunerationWe offer competitive salary and benefit packages, with the basic salary starting from 140,000-260,000 RMB per annum plus competitive bonus. Successful applicants will be granted funds of around 100,000 RMB.
